Recently, an AM radio station caller told a program host on the air that he'd called the general manager but was a little irked that the g.m. didn't answer.
"He needs to answer his phone," the caller said. "That's part of the job."
The program's host reminded the caller that the g.m. was busy running a radio station and that he listens to all of his messages.
You'd think that a caller would know that already, but as a former co-worker used to say, "Everything makes sense to someone."
